Dudley Raven Bailey
FOUNDER & LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Veterans Muscular Therapy (VMT) is owned and operated by Dudley Raven Bailey, a licensed massage therapist with over 25 years of experience in the field.
Before COVID, he owned Bailey's Muscular Therapy, where he trained his staff using an evidence-based protocol he developed while teaching Medical Massage at Delgado College.
Together, he and his team performed more than 100,000 hours of massage, improving the quality of life for thousands of clients.
Over the years, he has worked with professional athletes, marathon winners, and a world boxing champion. But the clients closest to his heart are veterans.
"Over the past several years, I've been touched by our veterans, and I'm on a mission to serve those who served us — by delivering the highest quality of care available in our most underserved parishes."
He has a deep, personal connection to those who have served. His father served with the Army in World War II and Korea, his uncle served with the Marines in Korea and Vietnam, and multiple family members have served in the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Today, VMT is growing beyond a one-man operation. As the team expands, each new therapist is trained personally by Bailey, so every clinician applies the same evidence-based protocol he developed over 25 years of practice.
And while our roots — and our name — are grounded in serving veterans, we've opened our doors to the broader community as well, bringing this same clinical, results-driven approach to civilians and military families alike.
Whether you're a veteran, an active duty service member, a military family member, or simply someone in our community, you can expect the same standard of care: personalized, evidence-based, and delivered with genuine respect — combining decades of hands-on expertise with a genuine understanding of what military service asks of the body."
